Our administrative office is located in the heart of Klang town barely 30 minutes away from the capital city of Kuala Lumpur and 45 minutes to the administrative capital of Putrajaya. We trust that the strategic location of our office premise would be of convenience to our clients and business associates.
Our office has a well-equipped law library that includes online and hardcopy subscriptions to the Malaysian Law Journal (MLJ), Current Law Journal (CLJ), Malaysian Law Reports (MLR), Malaysian Law Review (MLRA & MLRH), MLJ Industrial Law Reports, Mallal’s Law Digest as well as Halsbury’s Laws of Malaysia to assist us in our research.
Our office premises are designed with business practicality in mind, with a conference room allowing privacy of discussion. We would like our clients to think of our office as their business centre, fully equipped and business enabled to meet the current demands and to anticipate the needs of the modern business person and professional.
PROFESSIONAL INDEMNITY INSURANCE
Our law Firm is currently covered by the Malaysian Bar Mandatory Professional Indemnity Insurance amounting to RM 300,000.00. This coverage is provided by Jardine Lloyd Thompson.
Apart from that we also have a Top up Professional Indemnity Insurance of RM 3,700, 000. 00 and the indemnity limit is RM 3,700,000.00 for each and every claim which is also provided by Jardine Lloyd Thompson. As such our total Professional Indemnity Insurance is in the sum of RM 4,000,000.00 which by far exceeds the minimum mandatory requirements prescribed by the Legal Profession Act of 1967.
On a related note we proudly state that no claims have been made against our law firm, any of our partners or against our insurance policy. Notwithstanding that, we regularly review our practice standards and risk management policies so that we and our clients are adequately covered at all times, and that we never ever have to utilise our coverage. In so doing, we are also able to meet the recommended requirements of our business partners and clients. Due to the nature of and the quantum involved in our work, we see ourselves regularly increasing our professional indemnity.

Our Mr. Gurdip Singh attained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from University of London in July 1997 and completed his Certificate of Legal Practice in November 1998.
Prior to his association with the Legal Profession, our Mr.Gurdip had served the Royal Malaysian Police Force (PDRM) for 25 years. From 1977 to 1985 our Mr. Gurdip served as an officer with the 3rd Battalion Police Field Force which is based in Aerodrome Ipoh, Perak Thereafter he was attached to the Klang District Police Headquarters and Selangor Contingent Police Headquarters Shah Alam respectively. Here our Mr. Gurdip served various departments until he was finally aligned to the Commercial Crime Division of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). Our Mr. Gurdip acquired vast exposure and experience in handling fraud cases including Maritime and Corporate Fraud.
In 2001, our Mr.Gurdip opted out from the police force on optional retirement to pursue his passion for law and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar as an advocate and solicitor on 10th January 2003. Before his admission to the Malaysian Bar, our Mr. Gurdip chambered with Dato’ Sukhdev Singh Randhawa at Messrs Azlan Shah Sukhdev & Co. Here our Mr. Gurdip was greatly exposed to corporate law and civil litigation.
Upon being called to the Malaysian Bar in January 2003, our Mr.Gurdip was offered partnership in Harjit Singh & Associates which he accepted and specialized in Criminal Law. However in March 2003 our Mr.Gurdip opted out to set up his own legal firm and commenced practice under the name and style of Gurdip Singh & Associates. While practicing under the name and style of Gurdip Singh & Associates, our Mr. Gurdip acquired a great deal of experience in Conveyancing Civil and Criminal Litigation representing corporate giants such as Top Glove Corporation Berhad, Goodyear Malaysia Berhad, T.G Medical Sdn Bhd, Flexitech Sdn Bhd, Jhi Soon Manufacturing, PCI Gas Trading Sdn. Bhd, Metro Hartamas Sdn. Bhd, Syarikat Iklan Green Advertising and Ace Dimensi Sdn Bhd.
All in all, our Mr. Gurdip has also been a very active in Criminal and Civil litigation and often takes on his opposition without fear or favour.
On 1st September 2010, Mr. Gurdip and Sarjit Kang co-founded GURDIP SARJIT & CO (GSC). Mr. Gurdip was in charge of the running and administration of our head office in Klang wheras Sarjit Kang was heading the branch office in Ipoh, Perak.
From thereon i.e. September 2010 our Mr Gurdip Singh and Sarjit Kaur concentrated our practise in conveyancing. Our firm was a panel for CIMB Bank Bhd from 2011 until 2015 when our Sarjit Kaur resigned as a partner. Our firm was also acted in the preparation of Loan documents for Public Bank Bhd and Public Islamic Bank Bhd on an ad hoc basis from 2010 until todate. In November 2015 Mr Samreet Singh was offered partnership in the Firm and was registered as a partner in our Firm as of 16 November 2015 after in December 2015 Sarjit Kang resigned as a partner.

SAMREET SINGH (MR.)
LL.B (University of Wales) CLP (Malaya)
Samreet Singh is our partner and he specialises in the areas of Civil and Criminal Litigation. He read law at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth and graduated with Honours in 2009. In March 2011, upon obtaining his Certificate in Legal Practice, he joined Messrs Azlan Shah Sukhdev & Co an established Firm in Petaling Jaya, specializing in Civil Litigation.
In Messrs Azlan Shah Sukhdev & Co, Samreet chambered under Dato’ Sukhdev Singh Randhawa, a prominent senior lawyer based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Upon completing his pupillage and upon being called to the Malaysian Bar, Samreet was retained by Dato’ Sukhdev Singh Randhawa as a Legal Assistant.
During his tenure with Messrs Azlan Shah Sukhdev & Co, Samreet was exposed to a mid- and heavy civil litigation, representing clients ranging from private individuals to public listed corporations. He assisted Dato’ Sukhdev both in and out of Court and in conducting trials and hearings right up to the Federal Court of Malaya. In December 2014 Samreet joined Messrs Gurdip Sarjit & Co as a Legal Assistant and has been tasked with handling of our Civil and Criminal Litigation Department. And was offered partnership in Novemeber 2015.
